POLL: Would you support Northern Ireland at Euro 2016?

With two games left in the qualification campaign, Northern Ireland are in a stronger position than the Republic of Ireland to qualify for Euro 2016.

After their draw with Hungary last night, Northern Ireland remain top of Group F and are guaranteed at least a play off spot in their group. Michael O'Neill's side are a point clear of Romania, with Hungary three points further behind. One win from the games against Greece or Finland will see Northern Ireland reach the European Championships for the first time.

Despite their two wins in the last week, the Republic of Ireland still remain in a precarious position to qualify for next summer's tournament in France. Martin O'Neill's side lie in third place in Group D, four points clear of Scotland with two games remaining. The last two games see Germany travel to Dublin, while the qualifier against Poland in Warsaw may be crucial for the Republic's second consecutive appearance in the tournament.

Relationships between the two football associations and their fans have improved since the dark days of the early 1990's culminating in the World Cup qualifier in Windsor Park in 1993.
