Cagewarriors’ Rhys McKee believes he is just two-fights away from a UFC contract.
‘Skeletor’ will headline a Cagewarriors’ event for the first time later this evening at a sold-out Neptune Stadium in Co.Cork.
Ballymena’s McKee will face Norway’s Hakon Foss in the main event that will be the promotion’s first card in the ROI since March 2017.
McKee makes his 170lbs debut for the promotion after a long and successful lightweight stint on the European scene, that included BAMMA Lonsdale and World titles reigns.

The Northern Irish fighter says he is “without doubt” the next fighter from this island to sign with the UFC.
Niall McGrath spoke with the welterweight debutant for Off The Ball ahead of tonight’s fight card.
“I am 100% the next man. I now believe with 1,2,3 good performances - the way I intended to, that I could be two away, and I don’t think that’s me being ahead of it.
The Irish owned promotion has produced some of the biggest names in European MMA including the likes of: Conor McGregor, Michael Bisping, Gegard Mousasi, Dan Hardy, Joe Duffy, Paddy Holohan and Neil Seery - to name but a few.
McKee says he’ll be the next fighter Irish fighter from that list to join the World’s premiere mixed martial arts organisation.
“Come to march next year, I’m lining up perfect for that placement. I’d mix it up in there well,’ added the 24-year-old."
