Bellator MMA today confirmed their return to London’s SSE Arena Saturday, June 22.

The June date will feature a middleweight title bout between the Netherland’s Gegard Mousasi as he faces bjj ace Rafael Lovato jr.

Bellator's middleweight champion is coming of a TKO win over Rory McDonald at Bellator 206 last September, and is unbeaten in his last eight mixed martial arts bouts.

Lovato has been granted a title shot after building up a perfect 9  - 0 record with five of those wins coming under the Bellator MMA banner.

Ireland’s James Gallagher will also compete on the card.

The SBG fighter is coming off a submission victory over Steven Graham at Bellator 217 in Dublin last February.

Gallagher’s opponent is yet to be confirmed for the event with Bellator officials set to make an announcement in the coming days.

UK welterweight Paul Daley has also been confirmed for the card with an opponent likely to be announced at Monday’s press conference in London.

Tickets for the London date will go on sale next week.

Further bout announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
