Irish professional boxer Eric Donovan joins Eoin Sheahan live in the middle of a HUGE week for Irish boxing.  In Belfast this Saturday there is a huge bout as Limerick’s Paddy Donovan takes on Belfast’s Lewis Crocker in a rematch for the IBF welterweight title. 

The World Boxing Championships are also currently underway in Liverpool. There are 17 Irish boxers, including seven Olympians, vying for titles at the Championships this year, which run until September 14th.

Donovan currently occupies a seat at the Louth County Council HQ as a councillor for the Drogheda area.
