Republic of Ireland captain Katie McCabe joins Colm Boohig in our most recent edition of Inner Drive, to take us through the journey from playing on the streets, to working five days a week in Nando’s, to Ballon d’Or nomination and a new chapter at Chelsea.

Katie chats about growing up a Chelsea fan thanks to Damian Duff, earning respect in boys’ football, getting the Arsenal call up, and the loneliness that can hit after moving abroad.

We also hear from people who know her best on leadership, standards, World Cup nights in Australia, that Canada goal, and why she’s determined to leave Irish women’s football in a better place

Inner Drive on Off The Ball is brought to you by Allianz, proud supporters of Irish Sport.
