Colm Boohig is joined live from Hainan Island in China by 26-year-old Galway golfer Liam Nolan after a breakthrough week on the HotelPlanner Tour, where he landed his first professional title at the Abu Dhabi Challenge.

Liam chats through a closing 65 and a five-shot win, what it’s like trying to earn one of the 15 DP World Tour cards, and how he’s learned to focus on short-term goals rather than rankings.

He also reflects on nerves at the Irish Open, the sacrifices behind the grind, sponsorship and costs on tour, and the one part of his game he still wants to tidy up.
