Former GAA President Nickey Brennan joins Colm Boohig & Enda Coll to weigh in on the latest AFL raid on Gaelic football talent, from Finnbarr Roarty’s move to the realities of rookie contracts, player welfare, and what the GAA can (and can’t) do to keep elite young players at home.

Then it’s onto the big one: Brennan, chair of the Leinster Hurling Championship Review Group, outlines a proposed revamp for 2028 — two groups of four, a stronger link to the Joe McDonagh Cup, and real knockout jeopardy.

Can this help Leinster close the gap with Munster, build Tier 2 counties, and sharpen teams for the All-Ireland series?
