Former New Zealand out-half Dan Carter couldn't hide his disappointment after his Racing 92 side lost against Munster at Thomond Park on Saturday.
It finished 14-7 to the home side and speaking to Off the Ball's Oisin Langan after the match, the two-time World Cup winner said: "We came here to win and you can see on the guys' faces.
"That was our focus and they were desperate and they played extremely well today so to come away with a defensive bonus point, you know, we'll take confidence from that and when we went down 14-0, to show character to fight our way back into the game and get that try will mean a lot.
"At the same time, I would have loved to come to Thomond Park and get the win which not many teams do."
Speaking about the conditions, he said: "Yeah, it was difficult. We love to play with the ball and to string, sort of, two passes together was almost near impossible tonight so it was probably more of a game for the forward packs and there was a great tussle out there between both forward packs and guys really stepped up tonight but it was the same for both teams - you've just got to play the conditions.
"It probably wasn't the best spectacle in terms of style of play but at the same time, there was a lot of intensity there and our guys went to a level that we've got to build on from now.

"They pride themselves on their defence and it just goes to show how hard it is to cross their line so they defended extremely well. It would have been nice to get one over the line earlier on in the game to build a bit of pressure but it wasn't to happen. But, they showed character to stay in the game after going down a couple of tries was pleasing.
"It's going to be a close pool this one. We've got a couple of big games in December, matches against Castres, so we're really going to have to target those and if we can get a couple of wins then we're right back in it," he added.
