Dave Kearney scored a try in each half as Leo Cullen's side stretched their advantage on the field of play.
Jonny Sexton set up Dave Kearney's 17th minute try with a perfectly placed cross-field kick as the province went 7-3 up in Wales.
Noel Reid added a second try on 65 minutes after an excellent offload from Ben Te'o, before Kearney put extra gloss on the scoreline with another try with four minutes to go.
