One of the aspects of Leinster's European Rugby Champions Cup success that has been highlighted is the way head coach Leo Cullen and senior coach Stuart Lancaster have worked together seamlessly.
But with Joe Schmidt potentially bringing his successful Ireland spell to a close when his contract runs out after the 2019 Rugby World Cup, could a Cullen-Lancaster double act be a viable option to succeed the New Zealander at international level?
Former Ireland head coach Eddie O'Sullivan fielded that one on Monday Night Rugby and has been impressed by the way the two coaches have dovetailed to bring success for Leinster.
"I think there's a lot of logic in that because it was a big call for Leo to make [by bringing in former England head coach Lancaster]," he said.
"He had the bravery and the confidence to do it. Lancaster has really fitted in very well. I think it's been a very good team effort in the sense of both coaches working very well with each other.
"I think they gel very well, they've got a good yin and yang and everyone's pretty happy around them. So it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that if they're working that well together, keeping them together would recreate that with Ireland, so I think that's definitely a possibility. There'd be a lot of logic to it. Whether it'll happen or not is another question."
