France reportedly experiencing 2011 World Cup deja vu this time around

With a World Cup quarter-final against favourites New Zealand coming up on the horizon, it is probably a risky time to make changes in the coaching setup.

But according to some reports emerging from France, head coach Philippe Saint-Andre has been cast aside by his players, who are said to be training themselves ahead of the World Cup clash with the All-Blacks:

Former Leinster player and current Grenoble head coach, Bernard Jackman has come across those reports, which have echoes of the 2011 World Cup when Les Bleus' players effectively coached themselves to the final.

France lost to Ireland on Sunday to miss out on top spot in the pool stage, leaving them to face New Zealand in the last-8.
