Gallery: Connacht secure home semi-final against Glasgow

Connacht secured second spot and a home-semi final as they defeated Glasgow Warriors 14-7 at the Sportsground this afternoon.

Tries from Bundee Aki and Tiernan O'Halloran helped the Westerners earn a historic home-semi final in front of an electric crowd in Galway.

Glasgow's cause wasn't helped by their prop  Sila Puafisi, who was shown a straight red card for leading with his head into the face of Kieran Marmion.

Their first ever semi-final will be a repeat of this fixture in two weeks time.

Ulster will face Leinster in the other semi-final with the Northern province finishing in fourth despite routing the Ospreys 46-26 at the Liberty Stadium in Wales.

Paddy Jackson excelled from fly-half, scoring one try and 17 points from the boot.

Rory Best, Andrew Trimble, Chris Henry, Stuart Olding and Franco Van Der Merwe all crossed the whitewash to give Ulster a comprehensive win and secure fourth place.

Elsewhere, Leinster racked up 50 points against Teviso in the RDS, giving them second place in the table, while Munster secured Champions Cup rugby next season with a 31-15 win over Scarlets in Thomond Park.
