Guy Noves makes six changes to the France team for Ireland game

France have made six changes for their Six Nations game against Ireland on Saturday.

The French defeated Italy in Paris last weekend and head coach Guy Noves has changed more than a third of the team for the visit of Joe Schmidt's side.

Both props have been replaced for the game. Jefferson Poirot and Uini Antonio replace Rabah Slimani and Eddy Ben Arous and will be joined by captain Guilhem Guirado in the front row.

Paul Jedrasiak moves to the bench and is replaced by Alexandre Flanquart in the second row. The injured Louis Picamoles, who will miss the remainder of the tournament has been replaced by Yacouba Camara. Damien Chouly moves to number eight.

In the backs there are changes on the wing and in the centre. Maxime Mermoz joins Jonathan Danty in the centre in place of Gael Fickou. Winger Hugo Bonneval drops to the bench with Teddy Thomas taking his place.
