Eddie Jones' England simply proved to be too good for Ireland at Twickenham as they ran out winners by a scoreline of 21-10.
The first half saw Ireland under sustained periods of pressure in their own half, but it was Jonathan Sexton who moved the scoreboard first with a penalty.
Billy Vunipola came close, before being forced out pf play by Andrew Trimble, and moments later referee Romain Poite went to the TMO to see whether or not Dylan Hartley had gotten over the line for a try.
He eventually ruled that was no good, but Owen Farrell made sure England had a marginal advantage at the half by a scoreline of 6-3 with two penalties.

Ireland crossed the try line first in the second half as Conor Murray picked the ball and touched down for his second of the tournament, and the first score England conceded in this year's Six Nations.

Sexton hit a fantastic conversion to give Ireland a 10-6 lead, but it didn't last too long as Farrell pegged Ireland back with another long distance kick, before some good attacking play saw Anthony Watson touch down on the left wing, with no Irish defender in sight.

Mike Brown touched down for England's second try of the game as once again Jones' side stretched the Ireland defence and found plenty of space, this time down the right side.

Robbie Henshaw came close in the 65th minute as he attempted to touch the ball down, but lost control as he attempted to ground it in the corner.

The introduction of Ultan Dillane also added some explosiveness to Ireland's attack, and with England down to 14 as Danny Care was sin binned for not rolling away, his break almost lead to try from Josh van der Flier, but Poite ruled that the ball had been held up.
