"It is very easy to be motivated" - Jamie Heaslip says Ireland will be ready on Saturday in Twickenham

Ireland vice-captain Jamie Heaslip has said the Irish time will have no issue being motivated this Saturday against England, despite their Six Nations hopes being all but over.

Joe Schmidt's side remain without a win in their opening two games after a home draw to Wales and a loss in Paris against France. The back-to-back champions currently lie in fourth place after two games.

Eddie Jones takes charge of England for the first time in Twickenham as the crowd prepare to welcome the team back to south-west London for the first time since the World Cup loss to Australia.

Heaslip has played against England in Twickenham on five occasions but has only been on the winning side once. That was in the 2010 Six Nations when Ireland won 20-16. The Leinster star sees no reason why Ireland will not be ready for Saturday evening's game.If you can’t get motivated for a game like that, get out of the changing room, to be honest. If you are an Irishman and you’re playing tiddlywinks against an Englishman, or chess or scrabble, you want to beat him. You know what I mean? It is very easy to be motivated.

A loss against England will be the first time Ireland will have failed three Six Nations games in a year since 2013. That year Ireland won their opening game against Wales, before losing three of the following four games and drawing agaisnt France.
