Jack McGrath warns that Connacht's story is great, but Leinster want silverware

Given the fantastic season that Connacht have had so far under Pat Lam, the potential of a fairytale finish has many both inside and outside the province dreaming of what was once thought of as impossible.

However, standing between them and the trophy are Leo Cullen's charges, and Jack McGrath has warned that the ending to this particular script has not yet been written.

Speaking to RTÉ, McGrath said "they're going really well, from where they've come from. It's a great story, but we want to get silverware back.

"We haven't had silverware in a while and it'll be their first final so they'll be raring to go as well. It'll be an interesting battle."

While Lam's men will surely not be taking the challenge presented by Leinster lightly, their exciting style of rugby has won them a number of new fans, including Eddie O'Sullivan.

The former Ireland head coach noted, however, that the pressure of the occasion might get to the Westerners: "You would also worry a little bit for Connacht that this pressure game, a final, history in the making, all that wears on players' heads and you'd worry that they just mightn't be able to deal with that."
