Madigan linked with moves to English clubs

Ian Madigan is being linked with a move away from Leinster to the English Premiership.

Today's Irish Independent reports that the versatile Irish international is considering a move away from Leinster, with English clubs Bristol and Harlequins reportedly in the running.

The paper says that Bristol, who are an ambitious Championship side coached by former England head coach Andy Robinson, have offered Madigan a contract worth €500,000 a year to move away from his native province.

Since returning from the Rugby World Cup where he started the quarter-final defeat to Argentina and earned praise for his performance in the pool win over France, Madigan has featured in a Guinness Pro 12 clash against Scarlets and the Champions Cup defeat to Wasps.
