Munster will be without the services of Tyler Bleyendaal for the entire Six Nations period.
The province have confirmed that the New Zealand out-half has been told that he needs to spend another 12 weeks on the sideline in order to allow his quad tendon injury to heal fully.
The 25-year-old's time at Munster has been pockmarked by injury and this latest set-back is likely to keep him out for most of the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, full-back Andrew Conway did not train once again today as he continues his recovery from a hip injury while Rory Scannell is following the return to play protocols this week as he hopes to be involved in Sunday's European Champions Cup tie against Treviso.
