ANALYSIS: Leinster's worries ahead of Toulon test

If Leinster wanted some much-needed momentum ahead of the upcoming Champions Cup semi-final against Toulon, they got quite the opposite against Newport Gwent Dragons.

Their playoff hopes in the Guinness Pro 12 suffered a major blow in a 25-22 defeat to the Welsh side.

With major worries for Matt O'Connor and his team in a vital part of the season, the Irish Independent's Ruaidhri O'Connor joined Oisin Langan on the Monday Rewind to assess the problems that need solving including defensive frailties and the loss of Brian O'Driscoll's presence.

"Certainly, the returning internationals who watched that game from the comfort of their sitting rooms won't be happy with the guys who stepped into their boots at the weekend. I'd imagine the team review will be pretty bleak. That was a game Leinster needed to win, that they didn't win," he said, adding that Ben Te'o's performance was one of the few positives - his yelllow card aside - but that small inaccuracies are costing them.
