Peter O'Mahony: "It's great to be back at Thomond Park"

Munster captain Peter O'Mahony is relishing the opportunity to play knock-out rugby again in front of a packed Thomond Park at the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game he said: "It's great to be back at Thomond Park in the quarter-final of Europe - not to have to drag our supporters all over the world, all over Europe. It's nice to give them a home one and to give them something to shout about at the weekend.

"Toulouse with their history want to be back winning trophies as do we and you work bloody hard to get to quarter-finals so there's a lot at stake but I think a big thing for this squad is to enjoy the week, enjoy the lead up to it and hopefully enjoy the game and put in a big performance."

Looking forward to the challenge of facing a monster Toulouse pack he said: "We're a very proud team and we'll have to front up and get stuck in. Rassie and the lads will have a few things for us at the weekend but I think it starts with our basics and our physicality and we move from there.

"The size of their pack, they've got some quality players - Dusautoir, these kind of players have a huge amount of experience. Their backline is obviously incredibly dangerous. They've huge amount of internationals. They won't lack guys who have been at the highest level and experienced test rugby and European rugby," he added.

Munster welcome Toulouse to Limerick at 17.45 this Saturday.
