Jonathan Sexton is a doubt for Leinster's Guinness PRO14 derby with Ulster.
The Ireland captain is undergoing the return-to-play protocols having been withdrawn in the defeat to Connacht with a head injury.
Along with Sexton, flanker Scott Penny is another who will have their progress from a knock to the head monitored as the week goes on.
Leinster's 35-24 defeat to Connacht was their first of the season, and also their first home loss to another Irish province in five years.
It means Leo Cullen's side will go into Friday's game ten points adrift of Conference A leaders Ulster, albeit with a pair of games in hand.
In further bad news for the reigning PRO14 champions, both Jimmy O'Brien and Rory O'Loughlin picked up shoulder injuries in Saturday's game at the RDS and will require further assessment.
Ciaran Frawley needs to have a minor hamstring injury taken care of, while Josh Murphy requires assessment on what the province are calling a minor hamstring injury.
Rhys Ruddock has recovered from a rib injury and is in contention for the game with Ulster.
Jordan Larmour is also set to return to training this week following his dislocated shoulder, but it's expected the Ulster game will come too soon for the full-back.
Also increasing their workload this week is Harry Byrne after suffering a back injury.
Elsewhere, Garry Ringrose (jaw), Conor O’Brien (knee), Tommy O’Brien (ankle), James Lowe (groin), Tadhg Furlong (calf), Max Deegan (knee), Vakh Abdaladze (back) and Adam Byrne (hamstring) all remain long-term absentees.
