No team has ever won the Six Nations after drawing a game during the campaign, Joe Schmidt was reminded last week after an opening day 13-13 draw with Wales.
Ireland face France on their journey to a third consecutive title and will take comfort from the fact they have the returning Kearney brothers as well as Sean O'Brien back in the starting XV.
Speaking on tonight's Off The Ball, Philippe Saint-Andre and Brian O'Driscoll discussed the game and the gameplan Joe Schmidt's players will have to employ to get a result.
"It's difficult to just switch on the attacking play because they've brought a new coach in" O'Driscoll explained.
"Eddie Jones will have found it hard with England to get them playing in his system in one week, there's got to be a little bit of leeway given and a bit of time for their brand to be put into effect.
"I think with Noves, the change of combinations for tomorrow's games and resting some guys for the games ahead, I think he's cutting himself some slack and trying to get more guys out there."
France squeezed by Italy during their opening Six Nations fixture, a late penalty enough to give them victory.
"Teddy Thomas is still a young guy and he has so much talent" said Saint-Andre.
"I picked him in November, he scored two or three tries against Fiji and an amazing try against Australia. After he didn't play at all, because of injury and hasn't featured much over the last 10 months.
"But because he has so much talent, Guy Noves still picked him. He's quick and he's a match winner. It'll be a very exciting game tomorrow."
