Tomorrow night on Off The Ball, we will have one of the all-time greats of European football on the show when Ruud Gullit joins us in studio.
Ahead of that interview, we wanted to look at his rich and varied career with football writer and Soccernomics author Simon Kuper, who gave us an insight into the man.
He had one revealing story from Gullit's time at the great Milan side of the late '80s and early '90s, managed by Arrigo Sacchi.
"There were no walkovers in that team and Italian managers were used to more deference than Gullit ever showed with anyone. He never showed anyone deference, not to Berlusconi, not to Sacchi and there's this great story of him telling this dirty joke, Sacchi asking him to repeat it in front of the whole team," said Kuper.
"And Gullit tells this dirty joke, standing up in front of the whole team to tell it [and] Sacchi very, very embarrassed. He was not a deferential guy and Italian managers were not used to somebody like him."
