Suspended FIFA president Sepp Blatter is under medical evaluation for stress.
A spokesman for the 79-year-old says he is not in hospital after reports by the Swiss media claimed that he had suffered a health incident last weekend.
He is currently banned from football, as investigations continue into a payment made to UEFA chief Michel Platini, who is also suspended.
"He has been told to rest for the next five days. It is nothing dramatic, he has not been to hospital. I’ve spoken to him today and he says he will be back in his private office on Thursday," said his personal adviser.
Blatter was under renewed scrutiny last month when he suggested that FIFA had already decided to award Russia hosting rights for the 2018 World Cup before voting had taken place.
