Sunderland's Wes Brown has had his red card rescinded because of "wrongful dismissal".
The 35-year-old was sent off in Saturday's Premier League defeat at Manchester United for a challenge on Radamel Falcao, although it was actually team-mate and Ireland centre-back John O'Shea who committed the foul.
Brown's one match suspension has been withdrawn, and he can play against Hull tomorrow night.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet was delighted with the result of the appeal: "I’m very pleased and I’m delighted with the honesty of the process. The FA knew that a mistake had been made and it has been corrected in the right way, so I’m delighted with the decision."
