Italy moved a step closer to Euro 2016 last night after a 1-0 win against Malta, but it was the antics of Antonio Candreva that gained the headlines. 

The Lazio midfielder collapsed to the floor in the 87th minute in a theatrical fashion and was correctly booked for simulation after he ran past Zach Muscat in the box.

Southampton striker Graziano Pelle scored the only goal of the game in Florence as the Italians moved level at the top of Group H with on 15 points.
