Jose Mourinho says he cannot promise that Chelsea will finish this season in the Champions League spots.

The reigning title holders have had a poor start to the campaign, and are currently 15th in the table, nine points off fourth.

“I cannot promise,” said the Chelsea manager ahead of tomorrow's clash against Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Chelsea say they are not aware of any legal papers being sent to them by lawyers acting for Dr Eva Carneiro, despite reports yesterday that she was seeking a claim for constructive dismissal.
