Andy Carroll is clearly unhappy with the referee as he reacts to Leicester-West Ham draw

Leicester full-back Danny Simpson is looking at today's 2-2 draw against West Ham as one point gained rather than two lost as the Foxes' Premier League title charge hit a bump in the road.

Jamie Vardy was sent off as Leicester had to settle for a draw which leaves them eight points clear of Tottenham, having played a game more.

Off The Ball's Nathan Murphy was commentating on today's match at the King Power Stadium and caught up with Simpson and West Ham striker Andy Carroll.

"In certain circumstances, it's a massive point. I think it's a boost now. Certain things you can't control but I think we've proved to everyone in the league and everyone just what we're about and we'll keep going to the last second. Until that whistle blows, we'll fight and we'll try and get as many points as we can and it might turn out a massive point for us," said Simpson, although he admitted he was crestfallen as Aaron Cresswell put West Ham 2-1 up late on.

"I think I dropped to the floor and punched it because it means a lot to everyone."

Carroll scored the equalising penalty for West Ham but also gave away the stoppage time penalty which allowed Leicester to level.

He wasn't too convinced about Jonathan Moss' decision to call a foul in favour of Jeffrey Schlupp when Nathan asked him about it.

"I basically went up to close him down and he went over," he said, adding that "one of the reasons I didn't make the tackle" was down to previous refereeing calls during the game.

"He was going nowhere, the ref was on it, up from the beginning not making the right decisions and that's one of the reasons why I didn't make the tackle."
