Matt Doherty scored his first Premier League goal for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, as Spurs went out to a fast 3-0 lead over Leeds in the first half.
Leeds have struggled so far in 2022, with their. previous two matches being particularly poor for Marcelo Bielsa's men. They lost 4-2 to Manchester United last weekend, before going down 6-0 to Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Swords native put Spurs into an early lead in the 10th minute, capitalising on a perfect cross from Ryan Sessegnon.

Things went from bad to worse for Bielsa's men, as Tottenham increased their lead to two just five minutes later. Dejan Kulusevski slotted the ball into the back of the net off of his wing.

Spurs were in flying form as Harry Kane seems to be back to his best after a quiet first half of the season. The England captain made it 3-0 in the first half from a superb pass off of Pierre-Emile Højberg.
This is the second match in a row that Leeds have trailed by three at half time.

Son Heung-Min added to Leeds' misery with just five minutes left on the clock, after a perfectly weighted through ball that was lobbed over the Leeds defenders by Kane.

In spite of conceding the most goals heading into the weekend in the Premier League, Leeds are still narrowly outside of the relegation zone.
However, their lack of form over the past few weeks has been cause for concern for Leeds United supporters and the future of Marcelo Bielsa at the club.
