Ex-Ireland U21 keeper gets suspended drug ban

Former Irish Under21 international goalkeeper Aaron McCarey has been given a suspended four-month ban for failing a drug test.

The Wolves keeper (23) has been punished after tests show that he had tested positive for a non-performance enhancing substance during an out-of-competition test.

The suspension has been back-dated to last April which means that McCarey is already free to resume playing.
