Boca Juniors were crowned Argentine Champions last weekend for the 25th time in their history.
The Buenos Aires side defeated Tigre 1-0 to win the league with a game to spare. They have a chance of winning the Argentine Cup tonight when they face Rosario Central in Cordoba.
Carlos Tevez joined the club from Juventus in the summer after leaving his boyhood club in 2004. He made his debut for the club in 2001 as a 16 year old.
The BBC South American Football Correspondent Tim Vickery spoke to Off the Ball last night about the influence Tevez has has on the side since returning from Europe. "He has given Boca that little bit of extra impetus", Vickery told the show as local rivals River Plate have had a strong resurgence in the second half of the season.
"He is the player of the people", Vickery added as Tevez's upbringing has helped him gain fans around the country.
