Kenny Cunningham feels Chelsea deserved their 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.
The Blues had Willian's free-kick winner to thank for victory in the Champions League but former Ireland defender Kenny Cunningham felt they were not fluent up front.
"I thought the attitude was good. I thought they looked reasonably solid but lacked a bit of a cutting edge high up the pitch and took the wrong options on a number of occasions, particularly first half when they got around the opposition penalty box," he said on Off The Ball.
Last year's star player for Chelsea, Eden Hazard, was left on the bench amid reports of a rift with Jose Mourinho, although he did come on as a substitute with 11 minutes to go. Kenny feels the manager's, "got to play him. He's just got to play him".
"I just feel as if [Mourinho] has been through the mill with almost every player, his key players in particular - Hazard, Matic, Fabregas, John Terry. He's at the stage now [where] he's just got to put them on the pitch. They're his best players. We know how good they are. He's just got to stick with them now."
