How far down is Grealish in England's pecking order and have Tottenham found the right mix ?

Earlier today, it was confirmed that Tottenham technical director Franco Baldini has left the club by mutual consent.

Given that the money garnered from the world record transfer of Gareth Bale was not spent adequately two summers ago, the move is not a surprise.

But it comes off the back of a 4-1 win over Manchester City with a young team of self-produced players like Harry Kane and Dele Alli, signs of a revival for Erik Lamela and recent arrivals like Son Heung Min.

The Sun's Deputy Head of Sports Content Martin Lipton joined us on Off The Ball to talk about the progress that Spurs have made at the start of Mauricio Pochettino's second season in charge.

Lipton also gave his reaction to Jack Grealish's decision to choose to play for England rather than Ireland at international level, including the lack of guarantee that the Aston Villa midfielder will

"At the moment, there's no guarantee that he'll be in an England squad in the near future," he said.

"He is one of a number of players who will be looked at by England but there are certainly other players of quality who are ahead of him in the squad."
