Stephen Kenny makes three changes to the Ireland team to face Finland with Molumby starting

The boys in green play their first Nations League home qualifier behind closed doors this evening against Finland and Stephen Kenny has made three changes to the side that drew in Sofia.

After the 1-1 draw in Bulgaria, Stephen Kenny has made changes to the Ireland team that will face Finland with Jayson Molumby, Harry Arter, and Robbie Brady all coming into the starting XI.

As expected, Darren Randolph starts in goal with a back-four of Matt Doherty, John Egan, Shane Duffy, and Enda Stevens.

It's a brand new middle three of Harry Arter, Jayson Molumby, and Robbie Brady.

That means there's a debut for the Brighton midfielder Molumby who spent the majority of last season on loan at Millwall.

Up top, Callum O'Dowda and Aaron Connoly will provide the threat from out wide, while Norwich's Adam Idah continues to lead the line.

Sheffield United's David McGoldrick, who flew in on Friday to join up with the rest of the 24-man squad, is on the bench.

The game against the Finns is the last match that Kenny has to look at his players ahead of the crucial Euro 2020 play-off vs Slovakia.

Kick-off at the Aviva is at 5pm.
