To say that Gary Neville's Valencia tenure has not gone to plan would be something of an understatement.
Valencia have yet to win a La Liga game under Neville, and the side lost 7-0 to Barcelona earlier this week. The pressure is now mounting on the former Manchester United star ahead of his side's league game this weekend against Real Betis.
Graham Hunter spoke to Off the Ball on Thursday night about the crisis at Valencia, while Hunter claims runs deep into the bowels of the club. "Despite the humiliation in the Camp Nou there is a chance they go to Betis and win."
"I think there is a faulty set-up. I think there is a weak cowardly squad. As an inexperienced manager... I think (Neville) is in the midst of a typhoon."
Hunter thinks that whatever happens to Neville at Valencia, his reputation may not be greatly hampered by his La Liga experiences. "He remains an outstanding football brain. I still think he will get it right within the capabilities of that squad which has been badly put together."
