"It's amazing how easy they are to get at now" - Miguel Delaney discusses Chelsea's ongoing crisis

Chelsea's latest defeat in the Champions League has led to further questions over Jose Mourinho's performance as manager and their title credentials this season.

Miguel Delaney joined the Ger and Emmet Malone on the show tonight and explained how there performances this season may be down to a tactical issue in the side.

"Chelsea this season have been ridiculously open, they cough up more chances than they have at any point last season" he said.

"I think it's more a structural issue rather than a personnel issue. In open ply it's all very loose, there's no structure to how they're playing and no interchange of moves that allow them to open up teams."

Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat to Porto on Tuesday night and failed to offer any meaningful attacking threat, a theme that has been present for a lot of the season.

Miguel says, however, they have big problems in defense also.

"It's amazing how easy they are to get at now. When you go back to the City game, within 10 seconds, Aguero was allowed run straight through on Begovic.

"Have we ever seen that from a Mourinho team? There are these huge gaps that open up any time they get put under any type of pressure."
