Chris Kamara's laying down the gauntlet for Arsenal and Wenger

Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara and Ireland legend Niall Quinn had their fair share of tussles on the pitch during their football careers, but the atmosphere was nothing but friendly tonight as the duo joined us on Off The Ball as the Football Show returned to air.

Both talked about their early careers, with Kamara discussing how he ended up joining the Royal Navy at 16, while Quinn explained how Australian Rules influenced his own football style, before sharing their perspectives of the academy system cross channel.

Plus Quinn had an interesting anecdote about what former Fulham manager Malcolm Macdonald said to him when he was on trial there in the '80s.

"Malcolm's very words were: 'I'm a misogynist' - I didn't even know what it meant at the time and he went 'I like to speak man to man'. He said 'as long as you have a hole in your backside, you'll never make it at football,'" said Quinn, who revealed that he had since spoken to Macdonald about it.

As for the football to come this season, Kammy said "it's Arsene Wenger's best chance for a long time" and that Alexis Sanchez will go up another gear and predicted that Manchester United will have problems at the back.
