Keane's autobiography packed with interesting stories - but nothing new

A fight with Peter Schmeichel, why the FAI should not have given Brian Kerr the boot, why he's sorry he apologised to Alex Ferguson after his MUTV rant, and how Martin O'Neill gave him purpose again.

These are just some of the talking points from Roy Keane’s new autobiography, which was accidentally released yesterday, when a Tesco branch started selling it in a Manchester suburb.

Twitter was ablaze with little nuggets from 'The Second Half', which proved interesting, but not particularly original - many of the stories told had already been out in the public domain.

The book is due for official release on Thursday, and comes out the same week as Ireland face Gibraltar and Germany in vital Euro qualifiers.
