Is the Messi-Suarez-Neymar front three the greatest ever? Kenny Cunningham fielded that one

While Arsenal and Chelsea won comfortably in their Champions League outings tonight, Barcelona enjoyed a stroll in the park at home to Roma.

Fresh from humiliating Real Madrid 4-0 in El Clasico, the Catalans thrashed their Italian opponents 6-1 at the Nou Camp, with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi among the goals.

Together with Neymar, there is a growing belief that the current Barcelona front line, which led the club to last season's treble is the greatest forward trio in football history.

Kenny Cunningham was on Off The Ball after tonight's Champions League fixtures to talk about Arsenal's performance but he also spoke about the Messi-Neymar-Suarez combo as listeners sent in their suggestions for other illustrious candidates.

"It's a difficult one to top at the moment," said Kenny, who also tipped the Romario-Stoijkov-Laudrup trio at Barca in the 1990s.

"This three is frightening. Neymar is actually going to get better, Suarez is playing at his peak and Messi, I don't think there's much more to come from Messi. I'd probably even suggest we've seen Messi at his peak but he's still capable of being a huge influence."
