Manchester United legend Paddy Crerand has dismissed speculation that Louis van Gaal will lose his job this week as absurd and criticised journalists who have carried the story of his premature departure.
Speaking on BBC Radio Five Live, he challenged BBC sports editor Dan Roan to name his sources and explain where he was getting the information, which Roan obviously declined to do.
"Where do you they get these stories from? Do they make them up?" he said during yesterday's discussion.
