Liverpool three wins from title, Wolves miss chance to go into top four

Liverpool are now just three victories away from lifting the Premier League title after their comeback 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

Callum Wilson put the relegation battling Cherries ahead in the 9th-minute with VAR ruling that the striker didn't foul Joe Gomez in the build-up to the goal.

Liverpool drew level through Mo Salah's 16th goal of the season, the Egyptian has found the net 80 times in his last 100 appearances in the English top-flight.

Sadio Mane, who had fed Salah for the equaliser, grabbed the winner for Jurgen Klopp's side - who ended a run of three defeats in their last four games.

Liverpool also extended their unbeaten run at Anfield in the Premier League to 55 games.

Wolves missed their opportunity to break into the top four - they were held to a goalless draw at home to Brighton.

Sheffield United are now level on points with Nuno Espirito Santo's team after their 1-nil win against Norwich where Billy Sharpe was on target.

Substitute Alexandre Lacazette scored for Arsenal in their 1-nil victory over West Ham.

Newcastle boosted their survival hopes with a win at Southampton by the same score line and Crystal Palace beat Watford 1-nil.

Jordan Ayew's 28th-minute goal sealed the win for Palace who move onto 39-points and on the brink of safety.
