"The thing I see at Manchester United is that most things start in midfield.
"You've got Schweinsteiger, Carrick, Schneiderlin in there. None of them in the middle of the field are capable of beating a player.
"And they're not playing clever one-twos to break it up in the middle of the field, in other words to break through the opposing midfield.
"That's when you're really dangerous because the likes of the centre-forwards can make positions off the centre-backs. That's what you do. They're not capable of doing that.
"Schweinsteiger's not capable of it, Carrick's not capable of it, Schneiderlin is not capable of it. So, every time they get the ball it goes to the full-back, it comes back. Loads of passes but no penetration.
"The midfield's job is to get it from back to front and they're not doing that. They get it into the midfield players but it's coming back all the time.
"Mata is the only one I think with any real creative sense in the middle of the field. But he's playing on the right wing.
"So, if you're watching Man United, Schneiderlin isn'to going to go past anybody, there won't be any clever one-twos with Schweinsteiger or Carrick.
"I mean Carrick always has to pass the ball from where he receives it. He's a bad carrier. He doesn't carry it and you never see him beating anybody and sometimes that's okay because he can distribute the ball. But sometimes he needs to break it up in the middle of the field and they can't do that."
