Fans of Mrs. Brown's Boys are bound to be devastated with the news that Match of the Day will return on Saturday, March 21st as part of the BBC's TV schedule.
BBC have confirmed that Match of the Day will return to its Saturday night slot and the broadcaster has also said that they'll be showing repeats of classic FA Cup matches, too.
With the Premier League suspended until April 30th, you might be wondering what the next edition of Match of the Day will actually involve?
Well, the show will see Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Ian Wright debating the topic of the greatest captains of the Premier League era.
During this fallow period of sports coverage, the BBC have also said that they'll be returning to some sort of normality because Match of the Day isn't the only football show that they'll be broadcasting this weekend.
Saturday's football coverage gets underway at midday when Dan Walker presents Football Focus. The show will feature some of the best interviews and features from the season so far.
As for the classic FA Cup matches, the billing includes Watford v. Arsenal from 1987, the 1978 match between West Bromwich Albion and Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United v. Portsmouth in 2008, among others.
The move from the BBC is in keeping with FIFA's decision to make some classic World Cup matches available for free online, while TG4 will also be broadcasting some classic GAA matches, too.
