As Real Madrid prepare for a crucial Champions League second leg against Atletico, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric will be absentees.
But it's the latter who is likely to be the biggest loss for Carlo Ancelotti as Off The Ball's European football reviewer said on tonight's Football Show.
"When Modric is out, it's harder because there's no obvious replacement for him," he said, adding that the likes of Asier Illarramendi has failed to fill in and Lucas Silva is new to the team, prompting a potential tactical ploy this week.
"There's a suggestion Pepe will play in midfield which shows what a big loss it will be for Ancelotti."
Ben also gave his take on Borussia Dortmund's decision to replace the outgoing (in every sense of the word) Jurgen Klopp with the highly-rated Thomas Tuchel, explaining why he's the "right guy", and talked about the Bayern Munich mini-crisis which saw the club doctor walk out.
