Pat Nevin on why Arsenal form is "beginning to feel like a blip"

Beating Chelsea on Sunday was a great chance for Arsenal to put down a marker, but unfortunately for Arsene Wenger a 1-0 defeat at The Emirates has hurt them.

But in a month-long spell which saw them also drop two points at Anfield late on and lose heavily to Southampton, ex-Chelsea and Everton winger Pat Nevin believes it has the makings of a "blip".

"It's kind of hard to know how to take it for Arsenal. This is beginning to feel like a blip, isn't it? If it was a one-off game, you thought it's absolutely fine. But they've had a few in a row now and you're thinking 'there was your massive, massive chance' and they played kind of OK," Pat told Off The Ball.

"Remember at the start of the month, they beat Newcastle and since then they've got two points out of nine."
