Chelsea have announced the signing of Radamel Falcao on a one year loan deal from Monaco.
The Colombian joined Manchester United on a similar deal last season, but his spell as Old Trafford was a disappointing one, only scoring four goals in 29 games.
Speaking to Chelsea's website the striker said; 'I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe.'
He rejoins former Atletico Madrid team mates Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.
