Remember when Alan Sugar said he "wouldn't wash his car" with a signed Klinsmann shirt?

If you could name one Premier League player who destroyed preconceived misconceptions, it has to be Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann.

Signed by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 1994, the current United States manager had a reputation as a diver earned from previous World Cups.

But one goal celebration later and he endeared himself to Spurs fans and the general public.

On this week's Team 33, Joe gathered the great stories surrounding Klinsmann's during his one full season in England, from the player who inspired Klinsmann to try his diving goal celebration against Sheffield Wednesday to his eventual parting of ways with the club's then chairman Alan Sugar of The Apprentice UK fame.

Plus, the tales of Klinsmann's VW Beetle, why he ended up leaving and how a journalist managed to write articles titled 'Why I hate Jurgen Klinsmann' and 'Why I love Jurgen Klinsmann' all in the space of a few weeks all get a look-in.

Listen into Joe's short segment in the first part of this week's Team 33 podcast:

Plus this week's show also features our Fantasy Football segment with Eoin Sheahan and Tommy Rooney, as well as picking the best teams to have been relegated. You can get in touch with us on Twitter or Facebook.
