Richard Keogh is directly taunted by a Hull fan after losing the Championship play-off semi-final

Derby County were only one goal away from pulling off one of the best comebacks in the history of the Football League play-offs on Tuesday night.

The Rams were 3-0 down going into the second leg away from home against Hull. After only 36 minutes, they were leading the second leg 2-0.

Unluckily for the team and their Irish players that's how the game finished. Richard Keogh, Cyrus Christie and Jeff Hendrick all featured for Derby, but it was not to be enough to book a place in The Championship play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday.

After the match, Keogh was directly taunted by some Hull fans who were celebrating on the pitch after the win. The 29-year-old Irish defender did incredibly well to keep his cool and not retaliate in what was certainly a testing time.

The Hull fan's identity has been widely shared on social media after what happened on the field. Whether he receives a ban remains to be seen.
