Liverpool must beat Basel at Anfield tonight to reach the Champions League knockout stages - and face Manchester United live on Off The Ball in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Tony Barrett is the Mereyside football writer for The Times and he told Oisin Langan on Lunchtime that he expects it to be a defining week for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
Barrett also thinks the Reds need Raheem Sterling to shine tonight.
“If (Raheem Sterling) has a big night, so could Liverpool,” he said.
