Dundalk beat Bohemians 3-0 in tonight's top of the table clash in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
Dundalk took the lead against the run of play in the 27th minute when David McMillan's header took a deflection on its way into the net and Bohs were reduced to ten men shortly after the restart when Anto Murphy was shown a second yellow card.
The defending champions made sure of the points in the closing stages when Jake Kelly finished off a counter-attack, before Darren Meenan got a third in the 86th minute.
Meanwhile, Shamrock Rovers overcame their hosts Sligo Rovers 2-1 at the Showgrounds.
The Hoops took the lead after just five minutes when Sean O'Connor punished a sloppy backpass by Alan Keane but Sligo drew level in the 17th minute after Danny Ledwith fired home a free-kick against his former club.
Shamrock Rovers regained the lead just five minutes after the restart via a tap in from Michael Drennan.
Goals from Greg Bolger and Morgan Langley gave St Pat's a 2-0 win over Derry City at Richmond Park as the Dublin side bounced back from a poor result at Dundalk. Bolger's was off extra-ordinary quality:

Ten man Drogheda United fought-back from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw against Limerick at United Park.
Ian Turner scored for Limerick from the penalty spot after Alan Byrne was sent off but Drogheda grabbed a point when Sean Thornton equalised in the 83rd minute.
In the late kick-off, Longford Town beat Bray Wanderers 2-0 after goals at the start of either half from Pat Flynn and Gary Shaw.
